Presentation Description: Les Binet presents a new way to help track the health of brands and the effectiveness of advertising. Research over the last decade suggests that Share of Search analysis is fast, cheap and predictive, and can measure both short and long-term ad effects. By tracking it, we have a more powerful, not to mention cheaper, way to measure what people are actually doing online, rather than what they say they are doing. At a time when industry budgets are more strained than ever, this could be a real game changer.
